Vidde launched Vidde Alfa, its first eletric vehicle in collabortion with Pininfarina. Pininfarina e Vidde joined forces to creat an innovative snowmobile designed to reduce its carbon and environmental footprint to an absolute minimum. This is the challenge that Swedish company Vidde has decided to take up: to bring a highly attractive and sustainble alternative to traditional snowmobiles to the market, an eletric snowmobile within planetary boundaries. The aim of the partnership was to create an attractive, purposeful and lasting product thta, beyond being eletric, will be used more and longer and hence minimize its environmental impact. The joint ambition of Vidde and Pininfarina is no less that to create the world's first sustainble eltric snowmobile.

Vidde wanted to develop a product and a model that makes a difference in a broader perspective then just producing an eletric vehicle. iIt was about creating a product thta has a lasting positive impact throughout its entire lifecycle. This is what becomes the core of Vidde's Designed to last" philosophy, where the focus is on all parts of the product and on its technical, functional, aesthetic, and social sustainability.
Vidde and Pininfarina have focuesed the development on finding solutions thta can both emphasise the pure pleasure of using the vehicle yet at the same time making it functional and attractive for years to come. Vidde Alfa has a battery system with and internal heat making it possible to meet the cold climate conditions as low as -39° celsius.
